When you go to Italy for the first time you visit Venice, Rome, Milan, Florence… After a couple times in Italy you realize absolutely everywhere is beautiful, friendly, tasty and so different!
Today I want to share Italy’s best kept secret destination that you will probably never visit as a tourist. If you are looking to disconnect from the world and spend a few days in total relax – this is the place for you. I became addicted to coming here over the years – as my jobs were getting more stressful and I ended up having no time for myself, coming here for a week in summer or around Christmas really brings me back to life:)
The Valle Maira is a little-known valley in Italian Piedmont that lies to the East of the French Alps. This remote region still contains traces of an extraordinarily rich past: flamboyant mural frescoes on church facades, mediaeval towns with roofs hewn from flat stone. Higher up, above the larch trees, lofty mountain scenery awaits you, with unique flora and fauna and lakes of pure turquoise.

My family owns properties in this area that they have transformed into fairytale-esque Bed and Breakfast – those breathtaking views you see in the shoot is what you would wake up to!
All rooms are decorated with such attention to detail you would be stunned. Vintage linens, Swiss Pine beds that have a natural aroma that makes you relax and sleep like a baby.
The property has an incredible chef, so you can have rich traditional meals, enjoy sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, chill out and never leave the house:)
