ELECTRIC & ROSE

Those of you who travel a lot or who lived in different countries will agree that one’s style naturally adjusts to the current habitat. When I lived in Paris my color palette was to the point: black, grey, navy, beige. When I moved to London my style has changed completely and that is when I promised myself to never shop in one country for another country :))) Since I moved to LA my style has evolved again.
Here in  Sunny California I feel like giving in a little and embracing the boho-vintage vibe that is so predominant in LA.

We went for a casual dinner in Silverlake the other day and I wore my new fav uniform: high wasted ’70’s denim’ by Azul by Moussy with a dusty rose cropped sweatshirt by Electric & Rose  featuring my motto on the back!

Meet Electric & Rose a young lifestyle brand from Venice (the brand was named after two iconic streets in the heart of Venice Beach) that focuses on yoga wear and casual attire. Electric & Rose is a brand that has finally ‘said it on a sweatshirt’ :))))

I always liked ton-sur-ton embroidery but always hated cheesy motivational phrases on most T-shirts and sweatshirts. This piece from Electric & Rose has summarized my request to humanity and embroidered it on a piece of high quality cotton:) Cozy, comfortable and cool – 3 ingredients and I don’t want to take it off anymore. I paired my Electric & Rose cropped sweat with a pair of totally retro-looking jeans by Azul by Moussy, beige woven Stephane Kelian boots and ivory colored shades by Pink Sheep Heiress.

I love this sweatshirt on you! It’s the perfect shade of pink and the embroidery is so cool! Beautiful photos and bougainvillias too 🙂

I live in Australia at the moment and my partner is in London, and as I travel between the two places my style picks up inspiration from each. Also I have Indian heritage and I find influences from that in my style too. It’s interesting to see these how cultural visual influences come tougher to create an individual style.
