Every time I travel to Kuala Lumpur for work I try to take a few hours to go and visit a new place, preferably something really ‘local’ with a history. When traveling to places like this for work its very easy to forget that there is a whole world out there beyond the perimeter of the comfortable European-style 5 star hotel.Gorgeous Little India that you see on pictures has undergone a rapid development through the years, but certainly did not loose its culture and traditions. For me, the charm of Little India lies in its architectural juxtaposition: modern architecture on one side and old shops on the other.
Just back for my Asian trip and too happy to share these stunning photos with you guys! I always adored Asia, for those of you who don’t know I have a degree in Far Eastern studies, I used to speak Japanese (now I have forgotten most of it though haha) and I have traveled around Asia quite a bit. This time I flew to Singapore and Malaysia for work. Wow, it is quite a trip from LA I must say! Before I always traveled to this part of the world from Paris or London and it didn’t feel as far:) It is winter there now which basically consists of devilish heat paired with constant raining and 90% humidity- a dream come true 😂
Hi guys, I know many of you have been following my travels around Italy on my Instagram but I felt like publishing a little diary on the blog to tell you a little more about Cinque Terre since it was the first time for me and I am in love. Set amid some of the most dramatic coastal scenery on the planet, Cinque Terre is composed of five ingeniously constructed fishing villages which are a Unesco World Heritage site since 1997. The beauty of this place is incredible, I actually felt like I am on a different planet.
I have spent a day in Milan with my family before heading to Cinqueterre (Italian seaside) and we had a fantastic time gelato-eating, aperitivo-drinking, shopping and finishing off with Magic Flute opera at La Scala. Busy day but just one outfit that I wanted to share with you:)My absolute favorite striped 2-piece is from Loup, a NYC-based brand inspired by Parisian film, art and fashion icons such as Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin. Those very 70-s wide high-waisted culottes and belted kimono jacket look equally stylish with heels or Converse –
This week I wanted to share beautiful pictures of the Seven Magic Mountains in Nevada desert as well as my favorite ‘desert attire’ – black straw hat + Dra Clothing dress and top. We spent a day in Vegas visiting the International Jewelry Show and I once more understood the weather benefits of California 🙂 . The summer heat in Nevada combined with extreme air conditioning in any covered space were not easy to digest ! We all know straw hats are huge right now, and all of you probably own one or more.
